Tosen Foods, Inc., established in October 2001, is a distribution and manufacturing company that specializes in canned goods.

The company was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 17, 2001, under SEC Registration No. A200115838 for the primary purpose of engaging in the business of manufacturing, import, export and distribution of food and food products.

Tosen Foods main headquarters is located in 117 Quirino Highway Baesa, Quezon City, with company-owned facility for meat and agricultural food processing located at Supima Square compound Malhaccan, Meycauayan, Bulacan

The companies products range from canned sardines, tuna, vegetables (like corn, garbanzos, green peas, tomato paste, black beans, mushrooms, pork, and beans) and canned meat items like corned beef, potted meat, meat, and beef loaf.

Tosen Foods was founded initially as one of the projects in distribution, sales and marketing arm for the family corporation’s sister company, Century Container Corporation, a tin can manufacturing company.

The company began as a humble family-owned business that strives to be fully diversified and professional back in October 2001. It started as an idea based on the family’s original company, Century Container Corporation, dedicated solely to making tin cans. The family then decided that instead of just producing cans, why not make use of their ability to make canned food products.

And thus, Tosen Foods Inc. was born.

Century Container has tin can manufacturing plants in Zamboanga and General Santos and Papua New Guinea.

These are the areas in which they have strategically placed the plants to be closer to where fresh fishes and canning plants are. This ensures better and fresh produces each time.

Slowly, but surely, Tosen Foods has expanded its sales from local cities up to nationwide distributions. It has also been able to expand in terms of its facilities and productions, by building a Processing Plant and Cold Storage Facility in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

By 2011, Tosen Foods Inc. Meycauayan signed its name under the Philippine Food Drug Authority and recognized as an authorized manufacturer and distributor in the Philippines. And in 2014 – 2015, Tosen Foods Inc. Meycauayan has been accredited with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) compliance.

To date, Tosen Foods Inc. continues to grow as a premium manufacturer and distributor, import and export, not only catering in the Philippines but to international clients as well.

Tosen Foods has affiliated companies such as Akian Foods, which specializes in canned sardines, and Ocean Canning Corp, a company specializing in canned tunas.
